One prize, one winner. When this competition closes, a ticket is picked at random and we keep drawing until we find a winner. The winner can keep the £300 Smyths Gift Card or take £250.00 in cash instead.

A £300 Smyths Toys gift card is a brilliant win for any family — giving you the freedom to shop across one of the UK's favourite toy and games retailers. Whether you're browsing the latest tech, outdoor toys, or must-have gifts for the little ones, this card puts serious spending power in your hands.

Valid in-store and online at Smyths, you'll have plenty of time to explore their enormous range and pick out exactly what you — or someone special — really wants.

Win a £300 Smyths Gift Card and go on a Smyths Toy Superstore Shopping Spree! Or take the £250 cash alternative.
Buy one or more tickets above, or enter free by post - both have exactly the same chance of winning. You can hold up to the per-person limit shown for this competition.
Yes. There is always a free postal route with the same odds as a paid entry - no purchase is ever necessary. See the "Free entry" tab for how.
The winner is drawn once entries close on Sunday 1 November at 8:30pm.
Yes - if you win you can choose the prize or take the cash alternative of £250.00.
You choose your own ticket number when you enter, from the numbers still available in a fixed set of 480 tickets - they are not handed out one after another in the order people enter. Your number is fixed and timestamped the instant you buy. It doesn't decide anything on its own: the winner is picked at random at the draw, so the number you chose can't affect who wins.
Two separate things keep it fair, and both can be checked. How you get your number is one (see above); how the winner is picked is the other. The winner is drawn live on camera and archived, so anyone can watch it back and check the result. Every entry is timestamped, winners are published on our Winners page, and every published draw has a "Verify this draw" link.

How the draw works

Live draw

This is a live draw, broadcast on Facebook and YouTube. The winner is drawn on ANGIE, our electronic raffle machine (or the Google random number generator if ANGIE is unavailable). Every draw is archived so you can watch it back and check the result.

Every entry is timestamped and independently verifiable, and winners are published on our Winners page. Read how our draws, technology and security work.
